"This Place" Documentary ready for Film Festival circuit
What began as a documentary about roadside crosses has evolved into a larger story about the importance of ritual and place in grieving sudden or violent death for the families of three young adult victims. The film is transformed by a beautiful original music score for the upright bass by composer Graham Reynolds.
Walkie Talkie shoots video at TiECon 2007
For the second time the SemiCon group retained WTP to shoot short interviews of key participants at TiECon 2007 in Austin, Texas. Interviews included B. Ramalinga Raju, Founder, Satyam Computer Services Ltd and a major philanthropist in India today and an inspirational discussion of giving back from Peter Strople, Principal of Zero2 Holdings.
Larry Schooler promotional short
Larry Schooler, an NPR reporter and Voice of America correspondent, retained Walkie Talkie to produce a preliminary promotional reel in conjunction with publishing his upcoming book about the Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation Commission proceedings.
The Wisdom of Girls
Barb Steinberg Productions has teamed up with Walkie Talkie to produce a video component for an innovative curriculum for teenage pregnancy prevention. Featuring girl-to-girl commentary and some eye-opening perspectives, the video was released in May of 2007 and is available from Barb Steinberg at www.barbsteinberg.com

Walkie Talkie's new offices!
Walkie Talkie is moving to Austin's North Loop neighborhood. Our offices are located at Satsuma 53, 508 E. 53rd Street, #102. Satsuma is a new mixed use development by KRDB architects.
